After graduating from UNL, I played for the Edmonton Eskimos, Green Bay Packers, Evansville Bluecats, Tennessee Titans, Nashville Kats, San Jose Sabercats and the Omaha Beef.
In 2012, I started working for the TeamMates Mentoring Program which is a non-profit organization founded by Tom and Nancy Osborne in 1991 in an effort to provide support and encouragement to school aged youth. To reach this goal, youth meet one hour per week with a caring adult who serves as a mentor. Mentors are volunteers from the community who have dedicated themselves to making a difference in the life of a young person. I work out of the TeamMates Central Office and my role is to provide post-secondary support and scholarship resources so youth can pursue post-secondary education.
I am also a motivational speaker, giving young people and adults a Game Plan to be winners in their performance, attitude and teamwork. I live in Lincoln, NE with my wife Fara and kids Olivia, Lennox, Hudson and Sophia.
